Volgende week 29 november is het #GivingTuesday. Wereldwijd roepen we in meer dan 85+ landen op goed te doen voor een ander en vieren we gezamenlijk vrijgevighed. Ook The Java Village foundation doet mee aan GivingTuesday.
Our special request this year is to make a contribution towards the learning centre in the village. The centre reaches out to the youngsters of the village by providing them with English lessons and computer training. Extra laptops are always needed there as laptops in the tropical climate don’t have a very long life. Your contribution can help us provide the learning centre with new learning material.
The Java Village foundation focuses on health, education and economic independence for the most vulnerable inhabitants of a village on West Java in Indonesia. We stimulate and support local initiatives to break the vicious circle of poverty and to work together for a brighter future.
